James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge
A guided tour through the refuge is led by experienced birders who serve as volunteers with the Friends of Oʻahu Refuges group. During the two hour walking tour, participants learn about endangered water birds, migratory shorebirds, and waterfowl, as well as the history and conservation efforts of the Refuge.

Important Info:
Public access is only available through guided birdwatching tours. The Saturday birdwatching tours begin in the fall and continue on a weekly basis through early spring. Sign up should be completed in advance- visit the site info link for registration and the most up to date information. Guests are advised to come prepared for a variety of weather conditions, including appropriate shoes, rain and sun protection, and water. Food is not permitted on the Refuge.
