Important Info:
Public parking for this trail is located at the end of Ainako St. This parking lot also serves beachgoers at Shipwreck beach, so the limited number of stalls can fill up quickly during popular hours. Just a few steps out of the parking lot, this coastal hike proceeds east. Looking toward the grassy area between the beach and the parking lot, the trailhead begins there and heads into the trees.
Starting your hike early in the morning, will help to avoid the peak heat and sun exposure. Be sure to come prepared with ample water and sun protection.
