Nuʻupia Pond
This short walk along an asphalt path between H-3 and a series of protected ponds offers sightings of native wetland species and, during winter months, some less common migratory species.

Important Info:
This path begins after the crosswalk on Kaneohe Bay Drive just before the turnoff to Kaneohe Marine Corps Base. The path continues along the west side of Nuʻupia Pond and concludes before the Marine Corps Base entrance. Please note that beyond this pathway access to the Marine Corps Base is restricted to military and authorized personnel. Binoculars or a spotting scope are highly recommended as birds at the far end of Nuʻupia and in farther ponds will be difficult to see without.
